This is the final version of our preliminary work short film. As I mentioned in the previous post, the raw video was edited in Adobe Premiere, in order to color correct the video and put better title and credits, I have converted the project to DaVinci Resolve.Compared to the raw video I have taken out some shots, color corrected the video and put credits and the title, as well as some transitions.

The first reason why I chose to change the software was because DaVinci Resolve has a very useful and relatively easy to use Color Correction software. The only downside wold be that it is really slow and you can't hear the sound as it is and you preview the video in slightly less frames per second. For color correcting I have only use the bottom left corner color wheels.

In order that the transition to be smoother I have use a very useful video transition called 'Additive Dissolve' which made the gap from no color correction to the color corrected shot almost unnoticeable.

Regarding titles, I have use the Title+ effect where I have changed the font, the colors and the movements which made together a very nice title, in my opinion. I have also added a Dip to Color Dissolve transition in order to look ever more dynamic and better.
