The costume of the character is inspired by the famous French poet of the 19th century, Arthur Rimbaud. The character will simply be wearing a white shirt with a black tie and a dark grey waistcoat that matches with the pantaloons.

The costume needs to be matching with the clothing style of the times, but still has to express that the character is an artist, a poet.

The art being expressed is poetry, therefore it is something more intellectual than visual, this is why the costumes need to not be extravagant, but still deviant from the clothing style that the society was wearing back then. Adding tho this the aspect that the film is taking place in modern times, it adds up to this "deviant" style since it is something unusual to see nowadays.
